Glassware CAD Blocks + Interior Detail Resources
Happy Friday, designers.
One of the biggest CAD efficiency gains comes from building a solid, reusable detail and block library. This week’s download adds to that: a clean set of glassware CAD blocks for kitchens, bars, and display shelving.:
- A Collection of Glassware→ LINK
The set includes a:
- Champagne glass
- White and red wine glasses (if you're fancy like that)
- Martini glass

If you’re looking for a quick reference guide for interior details — things like cabinet boxes, baseboard conditions, and trim transitions — I recommend The Graphic Guide to Interior Details by Rob Thallon. The subtitle is Details for Builders, but I think it’s just as useful for designers. It reads like an entry-level field guide to interior detailing and is easy to dip into when you need a fast visual check.

3. This week's cool thing is the badass spirit of the City of Minneapolis.
Last week I mentioned my love for Hennepin Made lighting and this week I want to celebrate the soulful tile work of Mercury Mosaics.
I was at their showroom sourcing for a project a few months ago and was genuinely inspired by the watercolor-like depth they achieve in their glazes. Just as important: their customer service was incredibly helpful — they got samples out to both my home office and my client in California within just a few days.

I’d love to hear from you! Hit reply if there’s a specific block you wish existed, a CAD question you’re struggling with, or anything you want to see in these emails. I read every response and genuinely want to help.
Really glad you’re here.
